slow fash·ion /slō/ faSHən
slow fashion production ensures quality manufacturing to lengthen the life of the garment. Slow fashion may be considered a revolt or action against the fast fashion movement. It is a movement that is about consuming and creating fashion consciously and with integrity. It connects social and environmental awareness and responsibility with the pleasure of wearing beautiful, well-made, and lasting clothing.
Takeit Colletion is a lifestyle brand that is a nod to the past, hand-made and ethically produced. All products are made with care in California.
Takeit strives to be as sustainable as possible, we make sure our suppliers take social and environmental standards seriously. We source locally when possible, and screen all of our suppliers, we minimize environmental impacts and ensure there’s no unfair or unsafe labor that goes into making our clothes or jewelry. We use deadstock textiles whenever possible. Deadstock is the the residual fabrics left over from major fashion houses. Instead of ending up in a landfill, these fabrics are repurposed for our collection. We're committed to being part of a much-needed environmental solution - not part of the problem.
