Fabric and Sizing:
All our kimonos are made from dead-stock or up-cycled fabric.
We have created them as one size garments to cut back on waste in manufacturing.
The hem is designed straight across so alterations for all heights can be made easily
to item, but we see this as part of the beauty.
Our kimonos are hand dyed. This might result in slight variations from item
Dry cleaning or professional cleaning is recommended
This is a handmade garment and should be treated as such.
(But they are also designed to be worn and enjoyed!)
SHOULDER - sleeve seam to sleeve seam on front of garment
BUST / CHEST- armpit to armpit, then doubled
WAIST - the smallest point around your waist, then doubled
HIP - the largest part of your hip area, then doubled
RISE - length from the waistline of pants to the crotch seam
LENGTH - from the top of the garment, at the middle of the shoulder, to the hem
TORSO LENGTH - from the top of garment, at middle of the shoulder, to the waistline
SKIRT LENGTH - length from the waistline to hem
SLEEVE - length from shoulder seam to the cuff of sleeve
HEM - bottom of the garment, then doubled
INSEAM - length of the pant leg from the crotch to the hem
THIGH - widest part of leg at crotch, then doubled
